Keeping communication lines open and informing staff is a director’s responsibility. Several years ago, I started a communication via email called Friday follow up. It has become a regular way for me to communicate to staff what is going on at all levels. It connects me to all employees and gives me a platform to praise people and introduce what is coming up.
