Cincinnati is known for its chili, and its popularity is evident in our schools. This year, we jumped on students’ love of spice and tried a Buffalo mac and cheese with the secondary school crowd. We created a Buffalo chicken dip and added it to the mac and cheese bars in the high schools. The students are using the dip to customize their macaroni and cheese. Our 3-Way Chili Pasta is still a schoolwide favorite; we make the chili a little sweet with a cinnamon undertone. But the Buffalo mac and cheese is gaining lots of fans.
