JetBlue Airways will become the first airline to accept Apple Pay payment off passenger iPhones for inflight meals, drinks and other amenities when the service launches on select flights beginning the week of Feb. 16th, reports USAToday. The mobile payment platform was introduced in September along with Apple's new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones.

The service will initially be available on transcontinental flights between New York’s JFK and San Francisco and Los Angeles airports but more destinations will be added in March with all JetBlue flights scheduled to support Apple Pay by June.
