TROPICAL THEME, ECLECTIC FARE. Vanderbilt's Rotiki station features a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches.

A computerized monkey screaming jungle sounds is the first thing one notices about Rotiki, the newest proprietary branded concept on the Nashville campus of Vanderbilt University. Also prominent is the station's 10-ft. tiki and its palm trees. But probably what its customers notice most is the food— a wide selection of soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and pizza, all self-ordered through a selfserve touch-screen computer terminal.
