Aramark introduced a new barbecue concept called Smokehouse BBQ at the University of Rochester in New York.The concept replaces a rotisserie chicken station.
Bon Appetit, guaranteeing itself a source of hormone-free milk, has invested in Schultz Creamery in Bismarck, ND. It's Deja Moo milk is now being served at several Bon Appetit accounts in Minnesota.
Aramark Healthcare Management Services will provide on-site retail dining services at The University of Texas M.D.Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.There, ten dining facilities serve visitors, patients and 15,000 employees.
On the Vending Front: Dynamic Vending, Inc. has acquired Chartwell Food Service in St. Louis, MO. and will fold its 14 vending routes into its existing operation. Meanwhile, AVI Foodsystems Inc. has acquired the assets of Bullards Industrial Food Service, Seymour (IN), from the Bullard family for an undisclosed sum.
