J&J SNACK FOODS introduces its first Hispanic-targeted frozen novelty, Tio Pepe's Horchata Congelada. Horchata, an old-world drink enjoyed by the Aztecs, is a rice, vanilla, cinnamon and sugar drink served cold and over ice. The Horchata Congelada is a frozen novelty version available in two package sizes: 3-fluid-ounce M-Paks target school A La Carte or nutrient-based menu programs; while 4-fluid-ounce squeeze tubes target convenience stores, vending and other locations.
