In July more than 6,3000 child nutrition professionals gathered in Denver for the School Nutrition Association’s conference, Exploring New Horizons. The conference featured more than 90 educational sessions, three general sessions, an exhibit hall with 850 booths and a closing concert by the Beach Boys. Attendees could attend one of the 90 educational sessions, which focused on topics such as allergies, salad bars, food safety and marketing.
