Being recognized by my superiors for the hard work I put in day to day, which paved the way for the opportunity to become the GM of the University Club.

Reopening Cultivate, a student-run gastropub here on campus. Last summer, we changed our service model from full service to fine-fast to combat labor issues and high ticket times.

I was involved in revamping our patient menu last spring to offer a mix of lighter options and comfort foods.

We established student focus groups, where members of our menu operations team and myself meet with small groups of students across grade levels to gain feedback on new menu items.

Being selected to take part in Sodexo’s International Chefs Program. Most of the chefs in my company for the program were executive chefs, so it was an honor to be selected.

Last school year, we offered a half-grain cookie with any reimbursable meal bought on Wednesday, our minimum day.
