The Big Picture: Unions Not Likely in Non-Commercial Foodservice

Oct. 29, 2012—Nearly three-quarters of non-commercial foodservice operations—72%—are not unionized, according to research from The Big Picture. Those most likely to have unionized foodservice workers are in colleges (46%) and schools (44%). The least likely market to find unionized workers was in hospitals, with 9%.
