Gluten-Free Day

Heidi Franssen Foodservice Director (Metz & Associates) Pocono Medical Center East Stroudsburg, Pa. A lot more people are being diagnosed with celiac disease. We emphasize education, so we had a gluten-free day where we brought in a vendor that has several gluten-free items. We gave out samples and had our clinical team pass out information. It was kind of an introduction to the fact that we are trying to be a supplier for this area for specialty diet foods.
