I couldn’t get a grip on what the oncology patients wanted to eat, so I went to visit them to talk with them about foodservice. When I went on vacation, I asked my chef to take over for me so I wouldn’t lose that contact. It’s worked out so well that we now have chefs and supervisors who all “adopt” a floor and make daily rounds to talk with the patients. |
