Life Care’s 110 properties include The Clare, a recently renovated high-rise community featuring three restaurants and two bars. “Everyone has a dining program, but ours is on a whole different level,” Kyle Exline, executive director of The Clare, told U.S. News and World Report. Residents pay for meals with dining credits at restaurants like Abbey on 53, which is open two nights a week and features three- to seven-course meals ranging from $50 to $75. The same restaurant offers free continental breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. daily.
