Operators must likely to offer frequent purchase programs to encourage healthy dining.

Twenty-one percent of operators offer incentives to their customers to help them make healthier dining decisions, according to The Big Picture. For those 21% who incentivize healthful purchases, offering frequent purchase programs for healthy items was the No. 1 way that operators incentive these better-for-you options. Hospitals were the most likely to increase the price for non-healthy food items, with 22% of operators employing this tactic.
