I developed a financial definitions book with definitions for terms we commonly use, such as profit versus revenue. The people in the cafeterias are the ones who generate the revenue, so I thought it would be good if they knew a little bit about what we were doing at the central office. You can’t hold people accountable for financial information if they don’t know what something means.
