I visit a different school each month and do demo cooking with fresh stir-fry veggies. While students are in line, I quiz them on the vitamins found in veggies and ask why that vitamin is important. The kids get a big kick out of it. Now they know exactly what and how we prepare the veggies. The following month, more students try the veggies.
