Dennis Pierce has been promoted to executive director of dining services reporting to the vice president for student affairs at the University of Connecticut, in Storrs. Currently serving as the director of dining services, the promotion of Pierce to executive director “recognizes the considerable growth of the scope of dining service operations over the last eight years,” according to a university press release. Pierce will oversee all current and future dining services projects, including the addition of a 700-seat dining operation within a new residential facility, various renovations as well as management and operation of a dining program within a new downtown Hartford campus as well as the UConn Law School.
