Nahavandi joins Loyola Marymount dining

He comes to the L.A. campus from Stanford University, where he worked for 10 years.

Terry Nahavandi has been hired by Sodexo to manage foodservice operations at Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles.

According to a news release, Nahavandi comes to Loyola from Stanford University, where he worked as a general manager for 10 years in residential dining. A native of Iran, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1975. He earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rutgers University.

“I’ve always had great passion for food, so after graduating I decided to build a career in the food industry,” Nahavandi stated in the release. He apprenticed for six years before opening two restaurants on his own.
