In January, Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) in Michigan named Dan Zehr as the dining services director. A 2005 culinary arts graduate of GRCC, Zehr has had an interest in and passion for hospitality since catering church events with his parents as a teenager, reports the GRCC employee newsletter. He has held executive chef positions at various restaurants and a foodservice director position within a senior retirement community in Indiana. Most recently, Zehr was the foodservice director at Baker College, in Muskegon, Mich.
