AUGUST 25—Kimberly Campagna, director of partnership development for Cura Hospitality, has been named education chair of the Pennsylvania State Dietary Managers Board of Directors.
Campagna will be responsible for determining current membership needs, seeking out and planning educational opportunities and providing mentoring for managers to maintain their credentials and advance their skills. This is a volunteer position for a state that has more than 1,000 certified dietary managers.
“Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have always had someone willing to provide that next level of support for me, and I feel it is a professional responsibility to return the consideration for others,” Campagna said in a press release. “In addition, volunteerism is an integral part of Cura’s corporate culture and I hope to support the educational needs of those who are delivering hands-on patient and resident services.”
Campagna has been in healthcare dining and nutrition leadership roles for more than 25 years. She has a degree from Penn State University in dietetics systems management. She is also a certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional.
