2 lb fresh PEI mussels
2 tbsp olive oil
1⁄4 cup green onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
19 oz can tomatoes, drained and chopped
1⁄2 cup dry white wine or chicken stock
1 tsp dried basil
1⁄4 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste
6 cups pasta of your choice
