Sunrise Morning Start

This parfait uses quinoa for an extra boost of protein .It also features apple, banana, red grapes, honey and yogurt.

Ingredients

12 oz. plain or vanilla organic yogurt
8 oz. Indian Harvest Sunrise Blend with Quinoa Flakes
9 oz. milk
1 Granny Smith apple, grated
1 banana, sliced
1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup pecan halves (or other nut)
1 cup sliced strawberries, whole blackberries or blueberries 

Methods/Steps

1. Several hours before service, combine yogurt with Indian Harvest Sunrise Blend with Quinoa Flakes. Refrigerate in stainless steel mixing bowl to below 40°F, but do not freeze.

2. To yogurt/Sunrise Blend mixture, fold in milk, grated apple, banana slices, grape halves, honey and lemon juice. Spoon mixture evenly into 6 parfait, martini or other glasses and garnish with pecan halves and strawberry slices, blackberries or
blueberries. Serve immediately.
