Grownup diners will also appreciate this new twist on a favorite snack—the strawberries add a healthy dose of vitamin C and just a handful of calories.
2 cups hulled and quartered California strawberries
1 can (14.5 oz.) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1 tsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
¼ tsp. fresh ground black pepper
½ tsp. kosher salt
Toasted pita bread wedges
1. Combine all ingredients except pita bread in the work bowl of a food processor. Blend until very smooth. Serve with pita bread toasts.
