Pork and pears are a great team in this nicely flavored pasta dish. Soy sauce and sesame oil add an Asian flair. Spinach adds nice color to this delectable dish.
1. Drain pears, reserving 11⁄2 cups syrup. In a bowl, combine syrup, cornstarch, soy sauce and sesame oil until smooth; reserve. Chop pears.
2. Season pork with red pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil, add pork and stir-fry until done. Remove pork from skillet, add bell pepper and sauté 1 min. Add pears and thyme; heat through. Add pork, syrup mixture and vinegar. Cook until thickened and bubbly.
3. In a large bowl, toss together pasta, pork mixture and spinach; season to taste.
