Tropical Tuna Tartare
Zesty tropical flavors perk up this version of tuna tartare. Crisp plantain chips are terrific for scooping up the delicious tartare.
3 tbsp. lime juice
2 tsp. lime zest
1 tbsp. olive oil
1⁄4 cup. unsweetened coconut milk
2 tsp. jalapeños, finely chopped
3⁄4 cup sushi grade tuna, cut into 1⁄4 -in. squares
1 tbsp. cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1. Combine juice, zest, oil, coconut milk, and jalapeño.
2. Arrange tuna in a bowl, pour marinade over mixture, and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate up to 30 min.
3. Add cilantro, salt, and pepper. Serve in a martini glass with plantain chips, if desired.
