South Paws™ Flounder Fillet Sandwich with Avocado and Bacon

Put a new twist on your menu with hush puppy coated seafood. Deep fried flounder topped with avocado, bacon and southwestern aioli.

Ingredients

1 – 4-5 oz. South Paws™ Hush Puppy Coated Flounder Fillet
1 Fresh Ciabatta Roll
½ Avocado thinly sliced
4 slices of cooked bacon
2 large pieces romaine lettuce
Southwestern Aioli
Favorite chips

Southwestern Aioli
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2-3 chipotle peppers in adobe sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
1 garlic clove minced

Steps

  1. Cook bacon according to package directions or until done & crisp
  2. Deep Fry South Paws™ Hush Puppy Coated Flounder Fillet at 360°F for 3-4 minutes
  3. Slice the ciabatta roll length wise and coat the inside top and bottom of bun with Southwestern Aioli (Ciabatta roll can be toasted and buttered prior to adding Southwestern aioli)
  4. Place a layer of Romaine lettuce, avocados, and bacon on the inside bottom of bun
  5. Place Flounder Fillet on top of bacon
  6. Top with other half of bun and serve with favorite side of chips
