Sesame Chicken Mashed Bowl
Orange and ginger infused Potato Pearls® Mashed Potatoes with sesame chicken and green beans.
1 pkg Potato Pearls® EXCEL® Original Recipe Mashed Potatoes
4 ¾ lb Chicken thigh boneless/skinless, cooked
2 Tbsp Orange zest, grated
2 Tbsp Canola oil
4 Tbsp Ginger, fresh (or 2 Tbsp ground ginger)
2 ½ lg Green beans, fresh/frozen, cooked
1 gal Hot Water (170°-190°F)
2 oz Toasted sesame seeds
19 ea Parsley sprigs (optional garnish)
- Add Potato Pearls® EXCEL® Original Recipe Mashed Potatoes, orange and ginger to a 4-inch deep, half-steamtable pan. Quickly add hot water, stir completely, making sure to hit all four corners. Set aside.
- Cut cooked chicken thighs in half and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bowl Assembly: In an individual serving bowl place 1 cup orange and ginger Potato Pearls® Mashed Potatoes, top with green beans, then sesame chicken. Garnish with parsley.
