The Cheesecake Factory Bakery, the concept that launched the chain of Cheesecake Factory restaurants, supplies desserts to a wide range of foodservice operations. A restaurant kitchen can take one of the company’s signature cheesecakes, cupcakes and other baked goods and use them as a foundation for a signature dessert, like these thick shakes. They start with red velvet and chocolate blackout cupcakes, whipped up in the blender to a frothy treat.
1 frozen red velvet or chocolate blackout cupcake
5 oz. vanilla ice cream
3 oz. whole milk
Whipped cream for garnish
- Unwrap frozen cupcake and cut into quarters. Place cupcake in blender container, reserving a few cake crumbs for garnish.
- Add ice cream and milk to blender container. Cover and blend until well mixed and frothy.
- Pour shake into serving glass. Garnish with whipped cream and reserved cake crumbs.
