Pub-Style Poutine Fries
One of the best-known of all pub flavors gives a new dimension to crispy Tavern Traditions Beer Battered Fries. Serve plenty of napkins with this Canadian favorite.
6 oz. Tavern Traditions Thin Regular Cut Beer Battered Fries (#45Q)
3 oz. Cheese Curds, unbreaded, fresh or frozen
4 oz. Guinness®-infused Brown Gravy (see recipe)
Pinch Parsley, chopped
- Prepare fries according to the directions on the package.
- Cover with the gravy.
- Top with the cheese curds and parsley.
1 ½ oz. Guinness Stout
2 ½ oz. prepared Brown Gravy
- Simmer gently for a few minutes, to give the Guinness a chance to cook off and the sauce to reduce very slightly.
