Navel Orange Salsa
This fun fruit salsa features red onion, lime juice, jalapeño, green onions, red bell peppers and oranges.
4 navel oranges
1 small red onion, minced
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, minced
1 tsp. jalapeño, seeds removed, minced
1 green onion, chopped
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1. Cut orange into segments, removing all skin, pith and membranes. Cut into bite-size pieces.
2. Combine all ingredients and allow to stand for at least 15 mins. so flavors can meld. Season to taste and serve same day.
