This pizza is a well loved classic. Simple ingredients make it great. Fresh mozzarella, plum tomatoes and basil are all it needs.
1, 12-in. prebaked pizza crust
3 medium plum tomatoes, sliced 1⁄8-in. thick
8 oz. fresh mozzarella, sliced 1⁄8-in. thick
1⁄3 oz. fresh basil, julienned
1⁄4 cup pine nuts
1 tbsp. garlic olive oil (optional)
1. Arrange tomato slices on crust, followed by mozzarella slices. Sprinkle basil over cheese, then top with pine nuts. Drizzle with oil, if desired.
2. Bake at 450° F. for 7-9 min. until crust is lightly browned and cheese is melted.
