Kheer Rice Pudding
This rice pudding dessert is perfect for a 30-minute dessert idea.
2 oz. rice basmati
1 ½ cups whole milk
2 oz. cardamom to taste
1 oz. granulated sugar
1 oz. sliced almonds
.76 oz. raisins
- Bring rice, milk and cardamom to simmer over medium heat.
- Add sugar and reduce heat to low. Stir rice occasionally until rice is tender, about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Fold in almonds and raisins.
- Transfer to 2-inch half pans. Hold hot for service.
