Gorgonzola & Caramelized Onion Pizza
A pre-baked crust makes it easy to put together this delicious pizza. Caramelized onions and two cheeses form the topping with pecans added for a nutty crunch.
1 12-in. prebaked pizza crust
1 1⁄2 cups onion, julienned
1⁄3 cup mascarpone cheese
3⁄4 cup Italian-style gorgonzola cheese, cubed
1⁄4 cup pecans, chopped
1. In a sauté pan over high heat, brown onions until caramelized.
2. Spread mascarpone cheese evenly over pizza crust. Layer onions, gorgonzola, and pecans over top.
3. Bake 6-9 min. at 450° F. until crust is lightly browned and cheese is hot.
