Curried Tilapia in Vegetable Pouch

Prepare a tasty and healthy seafood recipe in under 30 minutes. With the fresh tilapia and premade vegetable medley, this dish is simple to prepare for a daily special or dinner option.


2 tilapia fillets
8 oz. frozen vegetable medley
2 tbsp. salted butter
2 tsp. ground curry


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut two foil squares large enough to encase fish. Place 4 ounces of vegetables on each foil square. Top each with 1 fillet.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each fillet, then sprinkle each fillet with 1 teaspoon curry. (May use more or less to suit your taste.)
  4. Wrap foil to seal fish inside. Place on baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until desired doneness.
  5. To serve, place pouch on plate and open, taking care because steam will escape.

Just over 100 foodservice workers at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., have voted to join a branch of the Service Employees International Union, KIMT reports.

SEIU Healthcare Minnesota said that 89% of the ballots cast during last week’s election were in favor of unionizing.

The Los Angeles Unified School District has lifted its ban on flavored milk in an effort to reduce food waste, the Los Angeles Times reports.

After implementing the ban in 2011, the district noticed that many students would simply throw away their unused milk containers, causing them to end up in landfills. As Harvard University’s dining staff strike continues , the school has added an extra $25 to student accounts, providing more flexibility for students to eat outside of the dining halls, The Harvard Crimson reports.
