Telera rolls have the classic shape essential for an authentic Cuban sandwich or torta. Par-baked and fully baked rolls are available in this format.
1 telera sandwich roll
1 1/2 tbsp. yellow mustard
2 oz. sliced ham
4 oz. roasted pulled pork
2 slices Swiss cheese
1 med. dill pickle, sliced lengthwise into 4 slices
- Slice telera roll lengthwise in half. Spread 3/4 tbsp. mustard on each half.
- Layer ham evenly over mustard on bottom half. Top with pulled pork. Layer cheese slices evenly over pork.
- Arrange pickle slices over cheese. Place top half of roll on sandwich and press down lightly to compress filling.
- Lightly butter outer sides (top and bottom) of roll; place sandwich in heated panini press. Grill until cheese has melted (or desired color and doneness is achieved).
