News that Wendy’s added Bacon Ranch Fries—with an Italian three-cheese blend, Applewood smoked bacon and creamy ranch sauce—prompted a dive into Technomic’s MenuMonitor tool for a look at what other operators are menuing by way of fried potatoes. Read on for three more recent variations on fries, a dish offered by 50% of limited-service concepts.

George Washington University in Washington, D.C., is adding an additional $200 in dining dollars to each student's dining plan this fall, The GW Hatchet reports.
