Texas senior-living community boasts exhibition kitchen

HarborChase of Plano, a brand new 120-unit, Class B assisted living and memory care community recently named Kathleen Storey as Executive Director of its newest property. In this role, she will oversee and implement the HarborChase culture based on the company’s core values to ensure the success of another senior living community.

"Storey is an essential part of our team and her proven track record of keeping the social, emotional and physical well-being of our residents and their families at the forefront of her mind will help solidify HarborChase’s reputation as the gold standard in assisted living and memory care services in Plano."

Storey joined HRA in July 2010 as the director of sales of HarborChase in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Within just 18 months of working at HarborChase as Director of Sales Storey was promoted to Executive Director.   Storey exemplified an impressive work ethic that resulted in various awards including the 2013 Community of the Year from Harbor Retirement Associates’ leadership ceremony and 2015 Best Customer Experience Award from Seniorliving.com. Consistently high ratings and positive reviews are products of her compassion and hard work, felt by residents, their family members and visitors.

Storey graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and she married her college sweetheart with whom she now has two children. She currently lives in Robinson Ridge in McKinney and spends her free time with her family and two dogs, as well as exploring her passion for cooking and entertaining.

HarborChase is located on Preston Road at Highway 121 in Plano, Texas and is now accepting reservations for its HarborChase Charter Club members in advance of its grand opening early 2016.

The new senior living community will feature an elegant living room, library, salon, spa and a state-of-the-art wellness center. HarborChase will offer a variety of dining venues including a luxurious dining room, private dining, outdoor dining, an exhibition kitchen and a bistro/coffee bar. Additionally, a lounge will provide a place for entertaining or relaxation with fellow residents or visitors. The spacious individual residences will be offered in a variety of floor plans. Each HarborChase of Plano resident will have a Personalized Service Plan and will also enjoy a Life Enrichment Program that will offer more than 20 activities to invigorate their daily lives.
