Sodexo names Mark Bickford president, Corporate Services Solutions

Sept. 1—Sodexo has announced the appointment of Mark Bickford as
president of its newly aligned Corporate Service Solutions division.


The newly created position will oversee traditional dining services for corporate accounts, as well as vending nationwide. Bickford first graduated from the European Master Chef Apprenticeship Program, and then attended Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and Babson College's Executive Education Program for Corporate Entrepreneurship. Bickford joined Sodexo in 1985, and most recently served as eastern division vice president for Corporate Services.


“Mark and his team are poised to drive growth in the Corporate Services market, as well as continue to increase operational efficiencies that provide value to our clients,” Michael Norris, COO and market president, said in a press release. “I am confident that his strong track record and personal commitment to serving our clients will lead progress and better align the organization with our strategic goals.”

Compass has partnered with Jose Andres ’ ThinkFoodGroup, allowing the chef and foodservice vendor to collaborate at such venues as stadiums and college campuses.

“With this partnership, we have the opportunity to tell stories and connect with people through food on an entirely new level,” Andres said in a release.

We have a fixed kiosk that not only sells coffee, but also protein smoothies, grab-and-go reimbursable meals and other a la carte items. We used updated equipment like what is used in Starbucks and incorporated school colors. It is a very popular addition to one of our high schools, and we are planning on expanding it to two additional high schools.
