June 30—The School Nutrition Association has honored Adrienne Gooley,
Wanda Grant and Debbie Pridemore for excellence in school nutrition at
its 63rd annual national conference, currently being held in Las Vegas.
Adrienne Gooley, cafeteria manager at Valley View Elementary School in Columbia Heights, Minn., received the National Louise Sublette Award of Excellence; Wanda Grant, school nutrition director for Palm Springs Unified School District in California, garnered the 2009 National Outstanding Director of the Year award; and Debbie Pridemore, a school nutrition employee at Rosedale Elementary School in Fayette County, W.V., won the Heart of the Program Award.
