SFM announces 2013 Critical Issues Conference

Conference for B&I foodservice operators will focus on technology issues and tools.

March 7—"The Tech Toolbox: Tools and Tips for 2013" is the theme of the Society for Foodservice Management's annual Critical Issues Conference. The conference will be held April 26 at the TimesCenter in New York City.

Highlights of the one-day conference include roundtables and a facility tour exclusively for liaisons and self operators, educational programs, exhibits and a reception. Sessions will focus on an array of topics focused on foodservice technology, including social media strategies, consumer engagement, digital promotions, data streams and metrics.

“This is a rare chance to learn from some of the industry’s most informed tech leaders,” says SFM President Mark Freeman. “Attendees will take away tools they can immediately implement in their organizations. There’s no better place to explore how data, technology and metrics work together to drive a successful foodservice operation.”
