May 16—Kitchen workers at the high school and four middle schools at Fall River (Mass.) Public Schools recently got the chance to show off with their own locally-focused recipes as part of a Whitsons Culinary Group competition.
As part of the company's "Tate of Fall River" competition, teams from the schools prepared items such as tiger chili and spicy Thai chicken stir fry; oven-baked falafel served in pita bread with hummus and tzatziki cucumber sauce; chourico pinwheels; and sour cream blueberry coffee cake.
