Riddle previously worked as director of Licensing and Intellectual Property Management for A&M's office of Technology Commercialization. He also earned his master's degree from A&M in 2005. In his new role, Riddle will oversee more than 30 dining locations, the University Club restaurant and event facility and catering.
"I'm excited to utilize my past food and beverage management skills, in working with the Dining Services staff, to bring new ideas and concepts to campus along with a commitment to quality and customer service," Riddle said in a university press release, although he did not elaborate on his foodservice background. "I look forward to working with the dining services team to improve the quality and selection of food on campus and to enhance the overall customer experience for all Texas A&M students, faculty, staff and visitors."
Riddle was unavailable for comment on his previous food and beverage experience.
