Polystyrene from food trucks raises environmental concerns

Students appreciate the affordability of food offered by trucks at the University of Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia campus, but they voice concerns about the impact of all the polystyrene containers that are used, reports The Daily Pennsylvanian.

"Sometimes I think about that," Sonam Khemlani, a senior at UPenn, told The Daily.

As an alternative, Khemlani and another student suggested that customers bring their own containers, but agreed it would be a “pain,” according to The Daily.
