Poll finds many kids are skipping meals

Breakfast is the meal skipped most often, according to poll.

April 20—A new poll conducted by the American Dietetic Association Foundation found that 42% of white and Hispanic children and 59% of black children miss breakfast.

The poll focused on almost 2,000 pairs of parents and children aged 8 to 17. The poll also found that 12% of white and Hispanic children never eat breakfast and 18% of black children follow that trend.
