Parents demand more awareness, less lines

Survey was conducted with input from the adult food service committee along with other parents from each school.

Feb. 7—Lake Forest (Ill.) School District 67 is modifying its foodservice program in response to a recent survey of parents.

The district has two food committees, one made up of students in its three elementary schools and one middle school, the other composed of parents and administrators. Both committees meet monthly with the district's food service provider, Quest Food Management Services.

The district compiled the survey with input from the adult food service committee along with other parents from each school. More than half the parents said they were satisfied, but some still had concerns.
