Marquette to build $96M dormitory, dining hall

In an effort to meet students' demand for a longer dining experience, Marquette University has announced plans to build a new dining hall, bizjournals.com has learned.

The Milwaukee school's new dining hall—part of a $96 million project that encompasses a two-building residence hall and meeting spaces—would replace the facility in McCormick Hall, feature longer hours, and provide more seating and menu options compared to other dining facilities on campus, officials say.

Construction is expected to start sometime later this year, with completion set for fall 2018.
