Major companies donating bottled water to Mich. schools with toxic water crisis

Nestle, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Walmart have pledged to give more than six million bottles of water to Flint, Mich., schools as the town continues to battle its water crisis, reports michiganradio.org.

The millions of bottles will be of great help, school officials say, as they have relied mainly on charitable donations.

“This will ensure us that we’ll be able to continue to meet our need,” Bilal Tawwab, superintendent of the district, told the website.
