May 22—Meredith Bailey, foodservice director in the Kiski Area School District, Leechburg, Pa., has been chosen as Foodservice Director of the Year by the Pennsylvania School Nutrition Association. The award makes Bailey eligible for the national FSD of the Year honors, which will be determined in July.
Bailey has been the director at Kiski, in western Pennsylvania, since 2001. Her department serves 47,000 lunches and 15,000 breakfasts each day.
