Jersey district gives peanut butter the boot

Committee felt risk was to high to allow the kid-favorite spread.

April 16—The West Milford Township Public Schools' kitchens are now peanut-free zones.

A food allergen and cafeteria protocol committee found the past policy to be somewhat lacking given the nature of anaphylactic reactions that only require victims to touch a food containing their allergen of issue.
