Oct. 17—Iowa State University Dining has been named the 2013 Restaurant Neighbor of the Year by the Iowa Restaurant Association.
The award was presented during an awards ceremony and celebration at Prairie Meadows in Altoona last month.
The award was established in 1999 to raise awareness of the restaurant industry's contributions to local communities, and to encourage owners and operators to get more involved in their neighborhoods.
