Mercy Medical Center has won good feedback from staff, patients and other customers for the new menu in its renovated Sacred Grounds Café, reports The Williston Herald.
MMC recently teamed up with Sodexo to steer away from serving “stereotypical” hospital food, according to The Herald. Now, all of the café’s food is prepared in-house and the menu includes additional dietary items, to-go meals and a variety of ethnic dishes.
“Food is better now than before. It’s healthy and fresh; from the vegetables to the meat, nothing is frozen,” Emily Jemison, a cook at the café, told The Herald.
